Palo Santo is held in high regard by us. These raw sticks are gathered once  dead trees have naturally fallen. Allowing them to mature to a full life span.  This natural resource has abilities to cleanse living spaces, calm frayed nerves, and pleasure the senses. 
 
After cleansing your space, it is common practice to burn incense, or another smudge, to set a positive intention. Utilize your Palo Santo to set your positive intentions and give thanks. This "holy wood," which is widely used by shamans, healers, and mystics, brings in tranquility, harmony, luck, and protection. PLEASE NOTE, these do not burn continuously like regular incense sticks. They are unique and burn for a short period of time. You relight them as you go.
 
How to Use:
Light the Palo Santo Stick's tip until it catches fire.
Allow the Palo Santo Stick to burn for 5-30 seconds.
After 5-30 seconds, extinguish the flame, leaving only the embers and smoke.
Starting from the back of your space, walk around moving the smoke from the Palo Santo Stick with your free hand, feather, or fan
Keep in mind that the Palo Santo Stick will eventually stop smoking, so relight as needed (Note: Burning a fresh stick will catch faster, burning a charred tip will take a little longer)
If you haven't already, place the Palo Santo Stick in a heatproof receptacle to allow it to burn out naturally or suffocate it in salt after you've walked through and smoked your space to your satisfaction.
Depending on your needs and desires, we recommend cleansing your space with the Palo Santo Stick on a regular or as-needed basis.
